A huge thank you to Sgt. Leopoldo Silva and Sgt. Luis Guzman for donating Thanksgiving gift certificates to the Rio Bravo community. The Dando Gracias event is a yearly incentive started by Sgt. Silva to give back to the communities in which he and his coworkers grew up. We want to emphasize that this initiative is a personal gift from Sgt. Silva, which promotes the importance of education by recognizing the top boy and girl of the class. Each student received a trophy and a gift certificate for the family to utilize for Thanksgiving.

Thank you to all the parents and students who went to the PLS. Students who attended were rewarded with the opportunity to wear pajamas and enjoy a popcorn and movie party in the library.
